4 Simple Yet Helpful Travel Tips for the Busy You

Hi! How are you all? I know it's been a while since I talked to you guys. I've been very busy these past few months building my new career and entering graduate school to pursue higher education. Well, I'm back and I'm alive! :)

Before transferring to a new company, I went everywhere. I mean I traveled here and there to unwind, discover and, rediscover things that I know will help me focus on my next chapter in life. In this post, I went on a road trip to Tagaytay with my significant other and his cousins.  Ghad! I missed this place. Well, the time wasn't that long since my last visit but I just missed the view, the greenery, the food, and the a-bit-long drive (because of traffic). Who wouldn't want a day like that?!
So here are some tips for those road trip outfits..

1. Always go for Comfy clothes.
You'll never know where your feet will take you so you gotta be prepared for up and down adventures. Bring a card igan or something to shield you from the cold and changing weather.

2. Bring a Handy yet Fashionable bag.
Choose a bag that you can take anywhere, put all your necessary stuff, and still look fab bringing it. I went for the Parisian's black leather bag because I think it goes well with any outfit. Don't you think?

3. Sunnies
Your sunnies will protect your beautiful eyes from the harsh sun rays. Also, it hides those baggies under your eyes. :)

4. Light Makeup
You don't have to wear a ton of makeup, ladies. Just fill your brows, curl your lashes, put some lippie, and you're good to go! Don't forget the powder.

There you have it. Clean, fresh, and comfy feel for your next travel and road trip. Have fun!

The Perfect Dress

Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Bachelor of Arts in English
2015 Graduate
Greenhills | Parisian | Maybelline | Gold accessories from my Mom
Photographed by Jarwyn Gabana

Hello! I would like to share to you what I wore on my special day, my moving up day, My Graduation Day!
I know it's been 5 months since that day but I just want to tell you what I've been through to find what to wear.
In the following months, some of you will graduate from college, apply in the company you've been eyeing on, get hired, earn money, meet someone, get married, have kids, and just live happily ever after. Too fast, I know.hahaha
But before all those things take place, you first have to choose and find that perfect outfit. The struggle is real, believe me. I've been to places, shops, malls, boutiques, etc just to spot the right one.
I wasn't choosy or finicky. I just want to look elegant and beautiful on that day. This dress I wote wasn't my first choice. Actually, Greenhills was the last place in my mind where I would go looking for my graduation dress. When I went there, I got swamped with thousands of dresses, all ready to go up the stage. I walked around with my cousins and I came across this dress. I loved it the moment I layed my eyes on it. I love the cut, the print, the color, everything! So I purchased it right away. But I did purchase a few more so I had a lot to choose from.

I paired this lovely dress with Parisian because I love Parisian shoes. It just made the dress formal and fit for the event. And then that morning, my mom surprise me with a set of gold earrings, necklace, and bracelet. Oh how perfect, right?! She told me they would bring out a pulsing aura, and they sure did!
For the finishing touch, I just put on light day makeup from Maybelline. It channeled the youth-going-to-grownup-world in me plus it made my me simple yet elegant.

Tips

1. Go for cuts that will highlight or accentuate your body type.
2. Choose the color which is right for your skin.
3. Don't or Never go for super short dresses. You'll either look like a "you know" or like your going to a party.
4. Minimal accessories.
5. Go easy on the makeup.

I hope I was able to help you in choosing your future grad dress.
Good luck and Congratulations in advance!

Proud To Be Me

Hi! I know it's been a looooooooong time since I haven't updated or posted anything in here. I do apologize, my dear readers. But no more fuzz because I'm back! :)
How are you? Great? Good! Coz I'm AWESOME!

I've just started working, well actually I've been working for 2 months now (Exactly 2 months). I'm pretty sure that's the reason why I wasn't able to update my blog. Work is great plus my cool workmates at boss.
I missed blogging!!!!
So here goes my entry.

Ever wondered why some were genetically-gifted persons while others aren't? I'm not leading to something bad or offensive, okay? I mean, some can just eat and eat and not gain even a single microgram. On the other hand, I take a bit of pizza then there goes my weight shooting upwards. Yah, I know the feeling. But you know what, I'm training myself to always look at the good side of things. I know that staying in shape is really tiresome when your body isn't designed to be that way but why bother? You just have to learn to love yourself and the rest will fall to their rightful places. Love your curves and all your edges because no one wants a stick, right? You don't need those silly thigh gaps. Smile because you'll never know who falls in love with it everyday. Live because YOLO! And the important thing of all, be Proud of yourself because no one can do your job in this world but You.

Post VDay Date Outfit Idea

(Gap, Forever 21, Cotton On, SM Accessories, Parisian, So Fab)
Photographed by Jan Michael Baay

          For those who haven't yet done their VDay date due to busy scheds, this outfit is your go-to, hassle-free outfit!

If you know me well, you know that I love and adore Pink so much. So I cherry-picked this look for those Post Valentines Day dates.
It's comfy, chic, stylish, and simple. All in one! You don't need any fancy styling or any expensive clothing. But this outfit is just for those casual dates like going out for a picnic, a movie, a stroll in the park, lunch out or maybe a casual dinner date.

It's not too much but your guy will totally melt when he sees you wearing your favorite color in which you know how to wear it instead of it wearing you. Plus, you'll bloom!

Forever Young

(Greenhills, SM Accessories, Parisian)

          In a few months, I'll be graduating (hopefully) from college and enter the, what others say, Real World. Yah, it might seem that it's not so much of a big deal but it is to me.
Actually, I've been offered several jobs now from different companies and all I have to do is to pick and sign the contract. Some of my classmates already signed but I didn't. I dunno, I think I'm still not ready to bind myself and my loyalty yet. I still want to enjoy my youth, my time, my status, and everything.

Well, I believe that even though I'm already a working lass, I will stay FOREVER YOUNG.
It's so happy to always feel young. I'm still young, though. You wanna know the things I love about being Young?

* The Energy
          We have all the energy in the world!

* Colorful Clothes
          Because I'm a not-so-much fan of dull and boring ones.

* Time
          Your schedule is in your hands.

* Talent
          You can show the world more of what you can do.

* Freedom
          Need I say more?:)

I hope you can also list things you love about being FOREVER YOUNG.
