4 Simple Yet Helpful Travel Tips for the Busy You

Hi! How are you all? I know it's been a while since I talked to you guys. I've been very busy these past few months building my new career and entering graduate school to pursue higher education. Well, I'm back and I'm alive! :)

Before transferring to a new company, I went everywhere. I mean I traveled here and there to unwind, discover and, rediscover things that I know will help me focus on my next chapter in life. In this post, I went on a road trip to Tagaytay with my significant other and his cousins.  Ghad! I missed this place. Well, the time wasn't that long since my last visit but I just missed the view, the greenery, the food, and the a-bit-long drive (because of traffic). Who wouldn't want a day like that?!
So here are some tips for those road trip outfits..

1. Always go for Comfy clothes.
You'll never know where your feet will take you so you gotta be prepared for up and down adventures. Bring a card igan or something to shield you from the cold and changing weather.

2. Bring a Handy yet Fashionable bag.
Choose a bag that you can take anywhere, put all your necessary stuff, and still look fab bringing it. I went for the Parisian's black leather bag because I think it goes well with any outfit. Don't you think?

3. Sunnies
Your sunnies will protect your beautiful eyes from the harsh sun rays. Also, it hides those baggies under your eyes. :)

4. Light Makeup
You don't have to wear a ton of makeup, ladies. Just fill your brows, curl your lashes, put some lippie, and you're good to go! Don't forget the powder.

There you have it. Clean, fresh, and comfy feel for your next travel and road trip. Have fun!

What's It Like To Be Not-so Alone On Vday

Forever 21  JAG  MSense Sunnies  Unisilver Time  NYX

Before anything else, Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
It's that time of the year again where couples are allowed to cuddle in public, show a ton of PDA, and practically do everything sweet for their significant other. Ugghhh. Now I'm gonna share to you my Vday story/thoughts this 2016 (I guess my first entry for the year will be full of emotions? hahaha)

Okay, so to start and to make all things clear, I'm not single. I'm already taken by a man of great value. Meaning, he is everything to me (so cheesy, I know).

He completes me with his smile when he looks at me for a while.
He completes me everyday with all the words he says.
He completes me because he's nice and when he talks to me sweetly, I somehow turn into ice.

I know, I somehow made a short poem right there. The big question is, why is that the title of my entry? Hmmmm... It's simple. It's because I pretty am celebrating THE Day far from my man. Yah, so childish of me to whine about it but it's Valentines and I kinda have the right to be sad being alone today. :)

So what is it like to be not-so alone today?

1. I have a lot of time for myself.

Because I don't have someone to share it with besides a few people here.

2. I could eat what I want.

Since I don't have to go on a date, I could eat anything I want or not to eat anything at all. Just to give you an info, I only ate half a bowl of champorado for lunch and chocolate cupcake and white coffee for snacks. Yah, all sweet because it's Vday.

3. I have the license to make HUGOTs.

I was in date with my bestie last night. She was already single (I'm sorry for bringing that up again. hahaha) and I was going off from work so we decided to go on a late night pre-Valentine date. She was laughing and laughing and taking Snapchat videos of me because almost all the things coming out of my mouth were Hugots. What can I do? I'm just full of it. hahaha

4. I could go anywhere I want.

From home to office and home again. hahaha
Well, I'll just watch Harry Potter movies later!

5. I don't have to dress up.

Yesterday and today, I noticed that a lot of people were so dressed up and manhandling bouquets and things wrapped in cute-sy parchments. Of course, because they're going on a fancy or simple walk in the park date. And there I was, so casual and laid back looking. At least I didn't wear black. Still a Vday color. :)

Noticed anything on the things I mentioned above? The word I.
Being not-so alone or basically a no-date person on Vday includes a lot of I(s). It s*cks to say a lot of I(s). I think it would have been better if they were WE(s).
Honestly, it was a bit hard for me to be alone today because of all the couples I see celebrating together. I didn't have the chance to do all those stuff I said above with my man (Vday this year). Maybe it would have been a great day. A memorable and sweet day. But you know what? This Vday today is also remarkable to me because not only it's our first Vday apart from each other but it's also our first Vday in an LDR situation. I learned a lot and discovered a few things about me and our relationship. You can't have everything you want when you want it. You also have to deal with things differently from time to time. Come on, grow up! Growing up comes with developing and developing comes maturity. I'm pretty sure we'll be together next month because I will be disturbing and annoying him in their province. :)

So that's it. I hope you enjoyed, a bit, and were able to relate to my Vday encounter. And I sure am happy for all of you spending this year's Day of the Hearts!

The Perfect Dress

Hello! I would like to share to you what I wore on my special day, my moving up day, My Graduation Day!
I know it's been 5 months since that day but I just want to tell you what I've been through to find what to wear.
In the following months, some of you will graduate from college, apply in the company you've been eyeing on, get hired, earn money, meet someone, get married, have kids, and just live happily ever after. Too fast, I know.hahaha
But before all those things take place, you first have to choose and find that perfect outfit. The struggle is real, believe me. I've been to places, shops, malls, boutiques, etc just to spot the right one.
I wasn't choosy or finicky. I just want to look elegant and beautiful on that day. This dress I wote wasn't my first choice. Actually, Greenhills was the last place in my mind where I would go looking for my graduation dress. When I went there, I got swamped with thousands of dresses, all ready to go up the stage. I walked around with my cousins and I came across this dress. I loved it the moment I layed my eyes on it. I love the cut, the print, the color, everything! So I purchased it right away. But I did purchase a few more so I had a lot to choose from.

I paired this lovely dress with Parisian because I love Parisian shoes. It just made the dress formal and fit for the event. And then that morning, my mom surprise me with a set of gold earrings, necklace, and bracelet. Oh how perfect, right?! She told me they would bring out a pulsing aura, and they sure did!
For the finishing touch, I just put on light day makeup from Maybelline. It channeled the youth-going-to-grownup-world in me plus it made my me simple yet elegant.

Tips

1. Go for cuts that will highlight or accentuate your body type.
2. Choose the color which is right for your skin.
3. Don't or Never go for super short dresses. You'll either look like a "you know" or like your going to a party.
4. Minimal accessories.
5. Go easy on the makeup.

I hope I was able to help you in choosing your future grad dress.
Good luck and Congratulations in advance!

Dark Times

Yah, I know what you're thinking. I know my entry today's a bit dark (or even Darker). If you know me, you'll say that this is not me because I'm always smiling in my posts, always bubbly, laughing, and just about anything light and happy. But if you really know me well, you'll figure out why I'm like this. Ever felt, even once in your life, like the whole world's against you? Problems, trials, school, work, haters, responsibilities, time, fate, health, etc.
How does it feel feeling all of those? Some might just explode and...Oblivion. But not me. I was born not a fighter but to be a fighter. There will be times that life will exhaust and wear you out but you should never give in. People will give you a tough time but who are they to dictate you and tell you who you are, right? Just be you. I know it's hard but just be you. You can never please everyone. Hate your job? Think of the thousands of people who wish they have one or are looking for one. Tired to go to school? Look at those street children hoping to enter a class. Hate having a lot of time and doing nothing? Think of those who are fihting just to live one more day. Problems and trials? Don't think about them because they'll never go out of stock. Issues on shortage of love life? Don't find it. It'll come at the right time.

You may have lost the battle today but you will win the war.

Just enjoy what you have and be thankful for that! It's not everyday you're given that opportunity.
Want to be heard? Speak.
Want to be seen? Appear.
Want to be respected? Respect.
Want to be successful? Strive harder.
Want to be happy? Smile.
Want to be loved? Love.
Want to be blessed? Pray.

"A dream is a wish your heart makes." We often hear this in the ever famous Cinderella movie from Disney. If you know me well, you know how I love Disney Classics. That's why this look is totally inspired by that movie. In the movie, Cinderella didn't really ask for a prince. She only wanted to go to the ball and have fun until midnight. But how did she do it? How did the prince notice her? Simple! She went there in a fabulous dress, glass slippers, and a radiating aura.

Well, I found my prince in my Junior-Senior Prom 5 years ago. I also wore a fab dress, silver shoes, and a dazzling aura. Yah, almost like a Cinderella story, right?

I'm gonna give you a few tips on how to make your crush Notice You.

*Small Talks
I know it's very hard to talk to your crush but you gotta do something. "Small Talks" is the best first move you can do. Ask about how he's doing today, about his hobbies, and a bit about himself.

*Movies
"Hey, have you seen the new Avengers movie? They told me it was awesome!"

*Sports
Research or know just a wee bit about his sports or his favorite sports so whenever he talks about them, you can relate and give your opinion about how the game sucked. :)

*Excel in your chosen career
          Need I say more?

*Wear his favorite color so you'll match his eyes
Ask his friends about his fave color or if you're brave enough, go ask him yourself. Just remember not to over do you outfit or else, you'll look a bit tacky.

*Just BE YOURSELF
Nothing beats the all-time SIMPLICITY is BEAUTY. Don't try to be someone else just so he'll notice you. Go bare faced, basic white tee and denim, and wear that smile.

Always remember to put on your Glass Slippers wherever you go. He'll notice you even if you're just wearing your kicks. Good Luck!
